Today at Techie Youth, I learned that there are specific ways and methods to use to get regular clients or even making a sale happen. It’s good to be respectful to all of your clients no matter if they buy something or not because who knows, at the end of the day they might come back. Also, don’t be too serious! Crack a joke from time to time. Show your clients that it’s not all about business but to make sure it’s a good memory to remember.
Today at Techie youth, I learned the characteristics a good leader should have. Some of the characteristics are; willing to own up to their mistakes, eating healthy and maintaining good exercise habits all while staying positive throughout the day.
Today at Techie Youth, I learned the real meaning of entrepreneur and the actual work they do. Every time I heard someone say they are an entrepreneur, I thought all they do is very little work and just go on vacations all the time. I guess if that was true, then everyone would be doing it. However, it's actually hard work. They get up early and spend hours upon hours sitting at a desk looking at a screen all day. They answer emails, take a lot of phone calls and have meetings online.
Today at Techie youth, I learned the differences between role models and mentors. A role model is someone who might never see you in real life but they inspire you to dream big. However, a mentor is someone who is willing to invest all of their time into helping you succeed and do better in life!
Today at Techie youth, I learned how to use my time better. Some suggestions that were brought up were , using a planner or even a electronic device with planning apps. I’ve also learned to try not to overbook your days because at the end of the day, you also need time for yourself. Also, if you happen to not finish your tasks for today, then you can always finish it the next day!
