Today at techie youth I learned the fundaments of doing a fundraiser and the things you need to do it orderer it to be successful. I also learned the difference between a talent acquisition and a job recruiter. Recruitment is the process of hiring any suitable and well qualified candidate for a position that needs to be filled in an organization. A talent acquisition refers to the hiring of the most qualified candied by proactively searching for them. Talent acquisition is long term while job recruiter is more short term.
Today at Techie Youth, I learned how you can make money on social media. Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tiktok, WeChat and Facebook, all have ways of profiting you. All you need is wifi and consistency! Its simple and you don't really need skills just be creative, respectful and show personality. It is a simple way to make money on the side or even make it your permanent job if you reach that level where you are making a ton of money! Of course it will take time and you won't gain 1 million followers over night, but consistency is key and a lot of the social media influencers today started with less than 500 followers. This information is important because over the years, social media has blown up and more and more people go on there to connect/socialize. By just engaging with your audience, posting content they can relate too, and promoting products, their is a possibility where you can become successful and earn some good income on social media!
Today at Techie youth I learned ways you can become a Business Analysts and the requirements. A business analysts is in short terms a Problem Solver. They are contacted to solve any business related problems. I also learned that although both Data Analysts & Data Scientist might sound the same, they are both different. A Data Analyst inspects datasets to infer conclusions from the information using specialized systems and software. They use visualization. A data scientist uses scientific methods. They also use algorithms to extract knowledge from structured and unstructured data. They use modeling.
Today at Techie youth I learned the importance of knowing how to handle your money, managing time and prioritizing mental health. It is important to spend money on the necessary things instead of the flashy ones. Once you learn how to handle your money, and put your necessities first, it becomes easy and you are able to achieve that level of financial stability that you desire. Managing time is also important. Learning how to prioritize the work you need to get done instead of wasting time doing other un-important things like playing video games or going shopping, when you can use that time wisely to get work done. Lastly, prioritizing your mental health and learning how to cope with stress. This is extremely important because stress can always catch up to you. Going out for a walk, exercising, spending time with friends/family and also making time for yourself should be a big priority.
