Entrepreneurship

Today I learned about entrepreneurship. I learned that one of the first steps of starting a business isn’t just rushing to start the business but having a team. Nobody who is successful has done every little thing to become successful by themselves. Have people on your team that are not only willing to help support you, but also people that can help connect you to other people who are willing to help support you in whatever you’re doing. You also should have an Executive summary that speaks about what your company is, who you are and who your customers will be.

Prerequisites to getting employed

Today I learned about three things a job seeker should have prepared when applying for jobs, a LinkedIn profile, a resume, and a cover letter. The one that grabbed my attention the most was learning about how to create a cover letter and how it can help better your chances of getting hired at a job. A cover letter is a way of introducing yourself that is respectful, formal, and shows how you are an excellent fit for the job. Now some might say well "the jobs I've applied for have never required me to create a cover letter", or "we're in the twenty-first century who makes cover letters anymore." It's just like my mom would always tell me "don't do the bare minimum push to go the extra mile you never know where it might get you."By making a cover letter it shows the hiring manager that you are not only a better fit than most other candidates it also shows that you are hungry and you are willing, it gives you a little advantage that you just might need.

What I learned about living a Jet setter lifestyle

Today I learned about what it means to live a jet-setter lifestyle and how to live that life if interested. If you are a person who wants to make money but also wants to incorporate traveling maybe this is the lifestyle for you. You maybe be asking what kinda jobs can I work that incorporate traveling? You could become a vlogger and post videos on youtube showing the places you've been and things you've seen and eaten and make money from posting your videos, you can become a digital nomad and work a remote job so you can have money and travel. Now you might be saying well I don't have the kinda money to just be traveling all willy-nilly. Well, there are a couple of ways I learned that even when you think certain things are impossible there's always a way. The key is to find ways to minimize the costs. There are resources out there that will allow you to have a place to stay in exchange for your company and stories, in-home pet care, or just offering assistance to whom you might be staying with. Another way to minimize the cost of certain things is instead of paying for cabs or rental cars try hitchhiking. The moral of the story is where there's a will there's a way, the question is will you?

What I learned about Finacial awareness and Finacial management

At Techie Youth I learned about various things, such as budgeting, resale value, smart purchases, wasteful purchases, etc. Usually when you are taught about managing your money people always say save your money but they never really tell you how. Today I learned that before you make a purchase you should research the resale value of the item to help you make better decisions when buying particular objects instead of wasting your money on things you don't benefit from. Now you may be asking what does the resale value have to do with this? The resale value of an item determines how much money you could get if you decided that you would want to sell it, but here's the catch items that typically have a high resale value are used items that are kept in good condition and authentic. So buying a used item and then selling it when it's not useful to you more is a good way to make the money you spent back or in some cases you can make more money than you ever spent.
