Today I learned some more about business. I watched a video on ways to start a company. Which is pretty interesting sometimes I think of wanting to start my own company but then I never knew enough information. Now I can say that I have learned more. I also leanred about the 6 myths of entrepreneurship as well. These kinds of videos are very imfortative to watch. Since I'm a visual learner it's easier to understand
Learned a lot of different things today. I decided to hop around through the different sections and I learned stuff like how to sell digital goods. The types of digital products you can sell and in general what is a digital good. Honestly before this program I didn't know that digital goods even existed so I must certainly learned something new.
Today I learned alot of different things. I wacthed a video on how to set up and run your frist test which was pretty interesting. I also learned how to create a factory pytest fixture, which I do have to admit seemed a bit confusing at first. Although these are things that I am not interested in doing in the future I do find that I am learning alot of new things here
Learned a bit about social media. For Examples, social network community organzing, instagram social niche pages, which by the way was really interesting for me. Also learned about the most profitable niches for Instagram theme pages. All things that I haven't learned before!
This time I learned more about entrepreneurship. I watched multiple long videos on how to start a business. Overall it takes alot of work ethics and patience when it comes to starting a business. I also learned more about selling digital goods, creating digital assets and etc.
Today with remote careers I looked into Virtual Assistants. Which is something new for me. Through this section, if one wants to become a virtual assistant they can find opportunities on websites like Glassdoor, link design, monster, indeed, and much more. Also, learn more about different virtual assistant jobs for beginners for example zip recruiter or Upwork. I even got the chance to watch youtube video on how someone was able to get a virtual assistant job with no experience and essentially make 1000 per month. Which can potential build-up? Overall it seems to me that being a virtual assistant means earning money from home, flexibility, and a healthy balance of family and work.
Today I was still looking into recruiter and talent acquisition. I was able to learn some new things on the way. I learned how to recruit someone over resumes and guidance on what a cover letter should and shouldn't have. Also looked at the interviewing part and how you would interview a potential employee by being able to get true insight on what they are capable. Which isn't easy at first, Also learned the step by step process in hiring employees. like for an example screening calls or in-person interviews. Overal a lot can be unpacked here! There is so much to learn can't wait what else is there to see
Today I still keep my focus on remote careers. However I moved from finishing up learning about fundraising to learning about recruiter and talent acquisition. This section was pretty interesting and I have much to learn from it as well. For one i leaRNed how to build a name for myself through social media. The topic also looked at action verbs for job descriptions and search and finding job candidates. One thing that really stood out to me was learning about communicating skills. Through that I learned that it's isn't really about talking a lot but more or so learning how to listen effectively
I have learned a lot at Techie Youth. Today I looked at remote careers and within remote careers, I learned about video editing and fundraising. One thing I like about a career such as a video editing is its flexibility. I think a flexible job is really important especially if you have another job to the side or if you want to take care of family. Then I also learned about fundrasing which was an intersting one. Learning the basics of findrasing, elevator pitch, how to make connections through linkedin are all important things to learn even if yu dont plan to fundrasing. I think this can help develop good communnicating skills and allow you to network! I hope to learn more about remote careers as it is something that I may be interested in doing to the side or maybe at some point in my life.
