Today I learned about hosting my website and the basics of SSL and how SSL certificates work. There are always to host a website for free. I also learned what a domain name is and how the DNS works. In addition, I learned what SVN is, how to set up the Tortoise SVN client, how to manage conflicts in SVN, and how to use GIT. Not only that, I learned how to use WordPress and what it is.
Today I learned about web development. Some of the fundamental concepts are servers, the internet, WWW, client, and HTML. I also learned the basics of HTML with CSS. In addition, I started learning about web development roles and jobs related to it. There are differences between a web designer and a web developer.
Today I learned what AI is and AI technical skills. In relation to that, I learned what NLP projects are and how to implement them. There are different branches of artificial intelligence such as neural networks. Another type of AI is machine learning. There are a total of 6 major branches: machine learning, neural network, robotics, expert systems, fuzzy logic, and natural language processing. I also learned that it is possible to have s career in AI and it’s possible to get a job in that field with little to no experience and without a degree.
Today I learned about stocks and investing. There are two types of stocks: common and preferred. The main differences between those two are dividends and voting rights. Trading stocks is to buy and sell them for a short-term profit while investing is buying and holding stocks. Not only that, I learned about the benefits of publishing an E-Book and how to do so. I also learned about webinars, online course creation, podcasts, and stock photos. I learned about the different platforms I can use to record a podcast and how to pick, plan, and record one.
Today I learned about how to obtain funding and get sales/clients. In order to obtain funding, I first need to assess how much money I need first. Then, I should reassess and see if I can reduce any costs and then try to get funding. For getting sales and clients, there are psychological strategies I can use to gain people instead of creating competition. I also learned about methods to gain the upper hand in negotiations and how a good and concise pitch can help improve sales.
Today I learned about branding and how to create logos. Not only that, I also learned how to obtain funding.
Today I learned about the different types of business and profit models. I also learned more about cofounders. In addition, I learned about the risks of partnership agreements.
Today I learned about the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. I learned about what it was and the daily lives of many entrepreneurs. Not only that, I learned how to present myself as a leader and speak with confidence.
Today I started the Providing Services unit. I learned about simple but time-consuming jobs such as online tutoring and transcription. I also learned more about photoshop and voice acting.
Today I continued with the Improving Your Quality of Life unit. I learned about Stress management, identifying positive role models and mentors, and earning income by living a jet setter lifestyle. I learned the main difference between a role model and a mentor and how to get a mentor.
Today I started on the Improving Your Quality of Life unit. I learned about how to manage my time efficiently and the resources I can use to help plan out my day. I also learned about what liquidity was and how cryptocurrency is considered a liquid investment.
Today I finished the Intro to Earning Money Online unit and started the Improving Your Quality of Life unit. I learned about the different types of scams and how signs that a job is likely a scam. In addition to that, I learned how to efficiently network and talk to other people to make connections. Not only that, I learned the different between gross and net pay.
Today I learned about curating my social media, my public image, searching for remote job opportunities, interviews, and how to work remote jobs at Techie Youth.
